Mental Health Diagnosis

​       Have you received several different opinions on your diagnosis?              
       Do you feel like you may have other diagnoses that have not been identified?  
       Would you like to confirm your diagnosis with scientifically proven and comprehensive measures? 
       Has therapy success been limited or ineffective? 
    
       If you answered yes to any of the above questions, a Differential Diagnosis Assessment may be beneficial. This will            provide confirmation and identification of diagnoses as well as recommendations for treatment and interventions.
  
Psychoeducational Assessment

​    Are you or your child struggling in school? 
    Did you struggle in school and are now planning on attending College/University? 
    Would you like to know how to improve your grades and learn techniques to make learning easier? 
    Have you wondered if you have a Learning Disability or Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)? 

 
    If you answered yes to any of the above questions a  Psychoeducational Assessment will likely be helpful for you. This         assessment will use the highest standard measures to assess how you learn and how your brain functions with various         learning tasks.  This will then be used to make concrete recommendations for accommodations and strategies to use in         your learning environment. These accommodations must then legally be implemented in your learning environment.  
 
Personality Assessment

    Have you been diagnosed with a Personality Disorder and you would like confirmation?  
    Do you struggle with relationships with others in many different situations? 
    Have you noticed a pattern of difficulties that has been around since your teenage years and is causing                                 you difficulty functioning in your life?

    If you answered yes to the above questions it may be beneficial to have a personality assessment completed. These               assessments are very comprehensive and completed using well supported measures. You will be provided with                     recommendations around appropriate interventions and supports.

Memory Assessment

    Are you experiencing difficulties with memory? 
    Have you recently experienced a car accident or head injury? 
   
     If you answered yes to the above two questions, then a memory assessment may be helpful for you. This is a specific            asssessment to memory. Depending on your particular situation, it may be best to undergo a full neuropsychological            assessment. In your consultation with Elicia, she may direct you to seek a more comprehensive assessment. This                  assessment will help determine how your memory is functioning in terms of short and long term memory as well as              storage and retrieval of information.  You will be provided with recommendations for interventions and strategies for          managing your impairment.  
 
Capacity Assessment
 
     Are you concerned about a loved one's ability to make personal, financial or legal decisions?  
     Do you need assistance completing paperwork for attaining a Guardian or Trustee?
 
     If you answered yes to the above two questions, you may need a Capacity Assessment. This is an assessment to                  determine an individual's ability to understand the information needed to make decisions in personal, financial, medical        or legal matters. It also determines an individual's ability to retain information relevant to making these decisions as            well as the consequences of whatever chocie they may make.  This assessment is then used when applying for a                    Guardian or Trustee to support the individual in making such decisions in the future.
